New Databases Starting October 1st, 2008
Beginning October 1st, 2008 MARINet's contract with Gale will expire, and we will no longer subscribe to InfoTrac or Virtual Reference Library. We will be replacing and augmenting aspects our database selections with products from EBSCO. MasterFILE™ Premier will replace InfoTrac. Additionally, we will have new databases covering diverse areas, such as health, business, and student learning.
Later in the month we will also be rolling out our new "federated searching" tool, Serials Solutions' 360 for a public beta. This new tool will allow patrons to search most of our electronic resources simultaneously.
