McNear's Beach is located in San Rafael, CA, at Cantera Way. This bayside park has snack shop and vending machines, a beach, a (seasonal) heated swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, seasonal food concession, fishing pier, restrooms, change rooms, showers, lockers, and grassy areas for games such as volleyball and badminton.

Parking fee is in addition to group area reservation fee.
Group reservation fees are on a per day basis.

Bus parking is free only to Marin County Schools with reservations on a weekday - cars are required to pay fee.

Pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day

TENNIS COURTS
Fee: No fee
Sign-up sheet at courts. Park users can sign up for an hour at a time. $10/hr for reservations. (Tournaments are not allowed)

FISHING PIER
No fishing license required to fish from pier. Fishing license is required to fish from the beach or shore.

POOL INFO
The swimming pool was built in about 1960. It is 35' X 75'. The heated wading pool is 15' X 15'.

Adult swim is every 20 minutes of the hour at the large pool. (Check this with Supervising Park Ranger to see if it applies on a regular schedule).
