YOU'RE INVITED TO APPLY WHEN APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED (Approximately February through August): These are temporary, seasonal positions working either in the Marin County Open Space program or in the Marin County Parks system. Assignments are typically 75 or 80 hours biweekly, but part time and flexible schedules will be considered. Assignments vary and are located in many locations such as: the Open Space field office in Lucas Valley, various Open Space Preserves, McNear’s Beach Park, Paradise Beach Park , Stafford Lake Park, McInnis Park, and the Marin County Civic Center. Lengths of assignments vary, from as early as February through December.**Employees who work 400 hours or more in the season will be reimbursed up to $75 for safety boots and up to $75 for uniforms.
